At Prior Park, our curriculum is broad, allowing every child to pursue their interests, but balanced to ensure that we prioritise what our students need to access the next level of their education pathway.

Students take an average of ten GCSEs. We help students to set targets and measure their success against their own potential. We encourage them to persevere and to be the very best version of themselves every single day. This is reflected in our results where our value added scores are impressive as, year after year, we draw out the best from our students.

In the Sixth Form, the majority of our students take three A Level subjects with the most able choosing a fourth and many choosing to study for the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). Our EPQ results are outstanding with over two thirds of our students gaining an A or A*.

Most of our students go on to study at university at their first choice institution, these include Oxford, Cambridge and many other Russell Group Universities as well as a number of places at medical school. We also encourage some students to consider the new modern apprenticeship schemes offered by professional service firms and more vocational routes through tertiary education.
